Bible Study  - The Book of Psalms

The Book of Psalms, also known as the "Psalter" is a treasure of the Church. No book of the Bible is more familiar to Catholics than the Book of Psalms. It is the one book that's read (or sun) at almost every Mass. Its poetry is the lyric foundation for many of our most popular hymns, like "Taste and See", "Shepherd Me, O God", etc. It plays a central role in the Liturgy of the Word, in the Liturgy of Hours, in private mediation and Lectio Divian. A must-Bible Study for lectors, musicians, cantors and for everyone.

Come joint us for a 10-session study of the Book of Psalms starting Thursday, January 23 at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church Hall in Baileyville. Please sign-up (sheet at the back of the church) or email to pastor@shbaileyville.com to get your study materials.
