The St. Mary’s Church annual social, held Sunday, June 23, was a success. Thanks to the support of all those who attended, those who donated items for chance books and bingo, the net proceeds total $26,082. Auction items had a total income of $7,886.
A total of 934 meals were served. The breakdown was as follows: 653 adults; 56 kids; 150 meals to go; 25 workers; 50 free tickets returned.
Quilts were purchased by the following:
Lone Star: $500, by Lyle and Marcena Stallbaumer
Spiced Cider, $600, by Roger Stallbaumer
Flower Market, $450, by Laurie Stallbaumer
Scrappy Nines, $600, by Tina Palic
Here's another look at the quilts. The making of quilts requires a lot of time and talent. The efforts of those who create them and the quilt leaders are very much appreciated.
