Parish News
It was the best of weather conditions and the crowd was large. The annual summer social at St. Mary's Parish netted $21,421 on Sunday, June 27. There were 1130 suppers served. Donations and support by area businesses help make the social a financial success. St. Mary’s Parish appreciates the support of all those who donated and contributed in any way. "Thanks!" for helping make the annual fund raiser a success.
Sales of the four quilts, which are shown below, were as follows:
1. Flower Market Bouquet: $450 purchased by Juanita Huerter
2. Around the World: $575 purchased by Stan Murphy
3. All Stars: $350 purchased by Larry Olberding
4: Kansas Troubles: $750 purchased by Steve and Donna Sudbeck
Other bigger ticket items included:
K-State glider: $750 purchased by Harry Stewart
Framed aerial photo of St. Mary’s Church, donated by Jack and Donna Willmeth: $425 purchased by Will Henry
Christmas Tree Skirt, donated by Marilyn Holthaus: $250 purchased by Lois Crosier
Oak cabinet, donated by Nordhus Woodworking: $250 purchased by Ardan Rottinghaus
And now, one last look at the quilts of 2004.
